Domestic and Personal Care
We provide in-home care to eligible customers with an active NDIS plan, which includes assistance or supervision with daily personal activities which include but are not limited to maintaining personal hygiene, meal preparation and delivery, general housekeeping, and laundry along with providing assistance with the use of aids and equipment, mobility and more.
Our support workers care for your well-being and make sure everything including your household, and you are looked after well.
Assistance with Social and Community Participation
Being a part of an active community and socializing not only boosts your confidence and enhances your personality but also improves your overall health and increases the growth aspects manifolds. UND Services provides effective and tailored assistance with social and community participation, be it for work purposes, meeting friends and family, or going out and about for leisure or recreational activities.
In-Home Respite Care
We understand how essential it is to have a break from the usual routine, and this is where this support service comes to the rescue. We provide respite care services in the comfort of your home so that you and your carer can unwind, rejuvenate, and live comfortably. Cleaning and Gardening
This customer service includes assistance with household activities and maintenance like cleaning, gardening, and sorting. The service user may want to include household maintenance as part of assistance in daily routine. This service encompasses various things such as vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning. The service also includes maintaining your gardens with assistance in watering and keeping the gardens flourishing. Assistance with Travelling
We also provide transport and commuting services for the disabled. At UND, we believe assistance is only beneficiary and helpful when it is custom for the person being cared for. Hence, we pay precise attention to your unique needs and meet you exactly where you want to be helped. Our staff is well versed in helping transport the disabled with care and diligence, be it wheelchairs or trolly, we are ready at all times.
Accommodation and Tenancy Support
Our staff at UND works diligently to provide the most appropriate accommodation for the participants. We assist customers to obtain and retain proper accommodations. This support service includes personalized case planning, negotiating with respective service providers (not just limited to DHHS) like real estate agents, and assisting with applying for tenancy or undertaking tenancy obligations with the customer’s tenancy agreement. Further, we help in redefining housing goals and implementing policies to retain tenancies.
Support Coordination
We offer level 1 and level 2 support coordination, as per your requirements. This service includes capacity building in terms of being able to connect with the available funded supports as per your NDIS goals, along with assisting you with understanding the appropriate way to utilize your NDIS plan. Our support coordinators work tirelessly to make sure that you recognize and execute your NDIS plan effectively- thereby allowing you to maintain inclusivity and manage your plan to live an autonomous life.
Specialist Support Coordination Level 3
Our experienced support coordinators work closely with participants who have complex needs to ensure easy availability and access of support services as per their NDIS developmental goals. This support service is aimed at addressing complex barriers to help implement your NDIS plan in the best way possible. Our support coordinator will understand your goals and needs, evaluate which support is beneficial for you and track your progress whilst ensuring that you have choice and control over your supports.
Supported Independent Living
Under this support service, we assist NDIS participants in carrying out a range of day-to-day activities so they can live independently in the comfort of their home or in a shared-living arrangement.
Our support workers provide support with personal care tasks like dressing, showering and toileting, household tasks like meal preparation and cleaning, daily commutes for medical and personal purposes, and promote engagement in community activities.
